PRESENTED BY: Poculi Ludique Societas at the University of Toronto
DIRECTORS: Matthew Milo Sergi and Ara Glenn-Johanson
ASSISTANT DIRECTION & PROPS: JP F
COSTUME DESIGN: Linda J. Phillips

SYNOPSIS: Be a man (or learn to be) at the new PLS all-female international tour of MANKIND, the roughest, rawest medieval comedy! From England circa 1464, this morality play offers physical gags, poop jokes, and instruction to all people about how to be a good Christian man. Ideas take form as human characters: the pious teachings of "Mercy", a preacher, are thwarted by the playful idiocy of "Mischief", a prankster. "Mankind" -- our everyman -- begins the play as Mercy's star student, but his attention is soon stolen by Mischief's singing, dancing, shoving, and very entertaining sons, each representing a familiar source of distraction: "Nowadays" (Hastiness), "New Guise" (Trendiness), and "Nought" (Emptiness).
RUNNING TIME: 75 minutes
VENUE: Margaret Addison Hall Sports Field
PERFORMANCE TIMES: Saturday June 6th at 11am, 5pm and Sunday June 7th at 11am and 4pm
TICKETS: Free!
